Calen Kennett's recent work as a sound designer includes The Century Plaza , which was in competition at the 2005 Los Angeles Film Festival and is currently airing on Showtime. He recently produced Education in Oregon: A System for the 21 st Century a documentary exploration into Oregon's public education system. Commissioned by the Oregon Business Council and the Oregon Department of Education , with a communications grant from the Gates Foundation , the 40 minute film premiered at the Oregon Business Plan Leadership Summit for 1,200 of Oregon's top business leaders, policy makers, and community leaders. It went on to be used by the Oregon Department of Education and the Oregon Business Council as a promotional and educational tool to create momentum for dramatic reforms of Oregon's education system, pushing it into a position of leadership for the nation.

Calen was born on the southern Oregon coast and raised in the creative, nurturing community of Portland, Oregon, where he currently resides.   Calen has an extensive background in sound design for concerts, stage plays, and film, for which he has been complimented by Variety Magazine . Calen serves on the board of directors for Mythmedia , a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting cultural and environmental change through the media arts. He is a producer for Owlink Media , creating media that promotes a healthy relationship between humanity and nature. He is also one of the founding partners of Grassroots Screening , a film distribution company using ‘issue' films to promote social change. Calen graduated of California Institute of the Arts with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Sound Design.

A native Portlander, Katie Rasmussen is an artist with a passion for storytelling. She graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor's degree from Portland State University with a focus in filmmaking. She worked as an education assistant at Portland's Northwest Film Center.

Katie's recent work includes associate producer for Education in Oregon: A System for the 21 st Century , and producer's assistant with Lakeshore Entertainment for the feature films The Feast of Love staring Morgan Freeman and Untraceable staring Diane Lane .

Katie's directorial work has given her an intimate understanding of film and video, she has built strong working relationships with Portland's filmmaking community. From cinematographers, to producers, graphics animators, composers, and writers, Katie is well respected as a motivated, creative, professional director. Her recent directorial work includes the narrative short films; Reflection and Eat Your Heart Out . The latter is in post-production, and is highly anticipated within the Portland film community.

Gavriel de Tarr is a composer, arranger, and performer from Portland, Oregon. He is proficient in most styles of music, from jazz, to classical to post-20th century art music, and various styles of popular music (indie rock, new wave, folk, and dancerock). Gavriel has composed for film, theater productions, and marching bands, and writes for and performs in the indie new-wave band The Planets that performs throughout the Pacific Northwest.
